News → Chile’s Cereceda positive for cocaine, faces ban - clubChile defender Roberto Cereceda has tested positive for cocaine and faces a two-year suspension, his club Colo Colo said on Friday. The positive results of both A and B samples came from a test after a match against Bolivia’s Universidad de Sucre last month in the Copa Sudamericana, South America’s equivalent of the Europa League. “Colo Colo received a letter from the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) officially confirming the positive resulting the anti-doping test carried out on player Roberto Cereceda on Aug. 17,” the Chilean club said on their website (www.colocolo.cl). |
